let's slow down time

life moves too quickly right before our eyes.

When i'm not behind my camera its the quiet, everyday stuff that sticks with me the most—such as when I’m home with my cats, watching them stretch out in the sunlight, soaking up every last sun ray hitting them. Its also when I’m in my Nana & Papa's house surrounded by my loud Italian/Portuguese family letting the sounds of laughter (mainly talking over each other, loudly) and the old stories we share that fill the room. I love when i'm in public and I see the way people look at each other when they think no one's watching. But mainly its the spontaneous burst of crazy dancing when my fiancé and I are together and spending our down time playing video games being nerds — just being ourselves. So yeah, this is what me behind the lens looks like, soaking in those ordinary moments that feel like home. Im a firm believer what we all call life are those tiny seconds that are just as important as the big ones, because they are the real ones.

Through my photography and storytelling, this is what I want to give to you. An experience to hold onto during whatever season of life you're going through. Whether it’s the quiet tenderness of a newborn in your arms, the messy beauty of everyday family life, or the whirlwind joy of a wedding day marrying your soulmate. I want you to remember how it feels!

Yes, I know photos don't have the power to stop time, but what they do have the power of—  is to help us feel again. That's the storytelling and documenting I care about. The real, the honest, and full connection of it all.

Let’s make some space to pause, for you to breathe it all in, and capture what matters most to you.

Lets be real for a second — life doesn't slow down for any of us. So, lets hold onto to the good stuff!

Theres this illusion that life will wait for us—that beauty, meaning, connection, that it'll be there when we finally look up from our screens or when we’ve finished chasing whatever we’re chasing. But life doesn’t wait. It slips through our fingers in moments so small, you’d miss them if you blinked. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to pause and enjoy the big milestones. They become the memories you’ll come back to over and over again. We both know those few moments will turn into memories you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

So, what am i here to do for you? I try to catch them—not to keep them in a frame, but to honor them. To say, “This happened. This was real. You were here.”

Take a breath. Let me honor these moments for you — freezing time through my lens, so you can hold onto them forever. I want you to remember that life, its right here — unfolding in real time, fragile and unscripted.

I always remembered a family member saying to me growing up “make sure you take your mental snapshot of this moment to remember, cause you’ll never be able to relive it."

to have a moment so vivid and meaningful that it stays with them for a lifetime.

I want every family, couple, newlywed, new parent — every client I work with

This chapter of my life is called

happiness

I was born and raised in Winters, California on my family's ranch. Fourth generation! I come from a strong Italian & Portuguese family, who mean the world to me. I will forever call my family ranch home.

I luckily get to call San Diego my new home now because of my amazing (Soon to be Husband) Daniel, which has been a beautiful journey.

life in sunny san diego didn't start off too sunny for your girl.

As I previously mentioned, I'm originally from Northern California where lots of family and friends already knew me, which is where I also started my Photography business. I had lots of connections when first finding new clients to work with which was absolutely amazing. Daniel and I were together and met each other up north when I first started my business. One day out of the blue he got a job opportunity back in his hometown of Ramona, Ca in San Diego County. This all happened suddenly and quickly for the both of us. I was nervous to pick up and try to continue my business in a completely new location where I knew absolutely no one and no one knew me.

The end of my first year going into my second was very challenging. I had doubts and even started questioning myself if I was even a good enough photographer to continue doing this. Daniel stood by me and supported me every step of the way. He helped me believe in myself that I could start all over with no clients and continue doing what I love to do. I am now gratefully entering my fourth year into my photography business and I truly am blessed to call this my job.

A little back story on how I started photography

I began to love it during highschool, but would do it for fun to learn the camera. I then really got serious about it when I entered college where I studied Photography at San Jose State, gaining my BFA Concentration in photography. Once I graduated, I knew I wanted to share what I learned and my art with others.

I have always been a very artistic person growing up. I never thought that I would be offering my form of art to others in the way that I do, but I hope you are the next person I get to share this with because with every experience and interaction is something I truly cherish.

get to know your girl

Dream destinations to shoot

I have so many destinations that i would die to shoot a wedding at but a couple that would be on the top of my list is, Lake Como, Greece (anywhere in greece), Fiji, & Ireland

My go to coffee/Cocktail

I do love a good honey lavender latte and a delicious margarita!! I think a new favorite would have to be a Passionfruit Marg!

How Daniel and I met

Daniel and I met each other while we worked together at a golf course in Davis, Ca El Marcero Country Club. We both were on the outside crew ( i was the only female on this crew). He was actually gone for the first two months when I first started so we never actually met each other for quite some time. One tournament day we ended up having the closing shift two days in a row and something ignited during those closing shifts. It's kind of funny because my brother used to work at this country club in high school and during college. Daniel's brother in law was the Golf Pro Manager at the time we were working together. In some way I think we were meant to have our paths crossed. To this day I still miss us working together at the course doing our daily outside crew duties of pulling members golf bags and cart, riding in the picker picking up all the range balls, us riding in the carts together filling up all the sand boxes on each tee. Those were some fun simpler days that I will always cherish!

Ways i spend my weekend

A typical weekend can look lazy where all we do is house chores and hang around our home, most of the time we normally get together with family and go on motorcycle rides with Daniel's brother and dad. We do love to go on a new hike around the San Diego area. Daniel and I also love finding last minute sporting events to attend such as the San Diego Gulls.

Other times when we don't know what we want to do, but we know we want to do something, i actually made a "Date Jar" with a bunch of different date ideas on a popsicle stick and it's super fun when we get to pull the jar out and pick a date stick. Totally recommend making one!

My favorite part of a wedding day

As the photographer and as the guest my two favorite moments during a wedding has to be watching the groom's reaction when his bride is walking down the aisle. It's so innocent and pure! The other moment is listening to the speeches during the reception. I love hearing the dads walk up and pour their hearts sharing funny stories and loving memories!

Do small things

with great love.
